The R. STAHL explosion protected load and motor switches are used widely: for example, safety switches provide the necessary interruption of electrical power to machines and plant equipment during cleaning and repair work. The load and motor switches are used as main connection switches for distribution units and motor circuits. Load switches for motor protection are used where high short circuit currents need to be managed and help to protect the motor.

The comprehensive installation material supplied by R. STAHL includes explosion protected cable glands for different ignition protection classes, stopping plugs to seal unused bores in enclosures, breathing glands for the continuous pressure balance between the interiors of enclosures and the surrounding atmosphere, explosion protected cable conduits for the power supply into enclosures as well as other accessories.
