Ellipse® Industrial
The PRESO ELLIPSE offers the greatest accuracy of all flow sensors of its type. Its innovative elliptical design with improved aerodynamic characteristics outperforms more traditional devices, and overcomes loss of accuracy caused by fluid separation at the sensor body.

Venturi Industrial
The PRESO Venturi offers reduced operating costs, proven accuracy, and greater rangeability. Low permanent pressure loss characteristics, due to the Venturi's "Low-Loss" unique design, reduce energy costs and result in the lowest operating cost of any such device on the market.
Available in a variety of materials and configurations, the Venturi is suitable for a wide range of conditions in Water/Wastewater, Industrial, Institutional, and HVAC applications.

COIN® Flow Meter
The Preso COIN flow meter accommodates most flows, even the most abrasive. Accuracy and reliability are achieved by its rugged construction, practical design, and simple principle of operation. It stands alone in its ability to maintain the necessary square root relationship between flow rate and differential pressure for almost any type of flow:
- Clean liquids
- High viscosity fluids
- Steam
- Slurries
- Corrosive processes
- Gas/air
Even viscosity up to 3,000 centipoise does not affect the accuracy of the COIN flowmeter. The flow coefficient stays highly predictable down to the remarkably low Reynolds number of 300. This makes the series COIN flow meter ideal for such traditionally difficult-to-meter applications as fuel oil, waste water, coal tar, iron ores, black liquor, and others.

B-Plus® Valve
The B-Plus Balancing Valve features Preso's "Low-Loss" Venturi design, unsurpassed in the industry for low permanent pressure loss and low energy consumption. The B-Plus is accurate to ±2% and installs in any position with minimum upstream and downstream piping requirements. The B-Plus is available in 15 sizes from 1/2" (12.7mm) to 10" (254mm) with sweat, FNPT, flanged and grooved-end connections. Many options are available: pressure and temperature ports,
quick-disconnect fittings, readout gages and transmitters.

DP Gauges
PRESO gauges indicate pressure differential (DP) between two points. Flush and surface mounting and portable kits are available for permanent and field applications.
Flow rate is determined using the principle that the difference in pressure is proportional to the rate of flow in a pipe.
Both the lightweight GM portable kit, and the GMD DirectReadout Meter are suitable for applications including DP measurement across filters, heat exchangers, backflow preventers, pipelines, ducts, etc.
Large dials feature a 270° arc for faster, more accurate, read-outs. Precision-engineered, dust-tight, casings ensure trouble-free operation.

Fire Pump System
The Preso Fire Pump Flow Meter System is an FM-approved simple, precise and economical method of testing fire pump performance. The Preso system may be used instead of the typical hose valve header and hose method. Flow monitoring is easily achieved by allowing the operator to read the water flow directly in GPM or l/s. Two types of meters are available: fixed for pipe or wall mounting; and a self-contained portable unit which includes hoses, carrying case and
bleed valves.
The single most important advantage for the system design engineer is the choice of primary elements offered by PRESO:
- The Preso Venturi with its well known engineering principle, little or no maintenance and low permanent pressure loss; with minimum requirements for upstream (5 dia.) and downstream (2 dia.) straight pipe length.
- The Preso Annular Element (Pitot tube) - also maintenance-free and with low permanent pressure loss, installed economically by insertion into the pipe at right angle to the flow. The system comes complete with weld-coupling, packing gland and instrument valves.

HVAC Air Flow
The Preso AYR Ellipse Air Flow Measuring Sensors are available for single or multiple installations in round, square or rectangular ducts. The unique patented elliptical design provides high accuracy and repeatability with low permanent pressure loss.

Ellipse Commercial
The Preso Ellipse annular flow devices are primary flow sensors designed to produce a differential pressure that is proportional to flow. Its elliptical shape provides the lowest pressure loss in the industry. The Ellipse flow meter is designed with a series of ports facing the upstream velocity pressures and flow sensing ports strategically located ahead of the trailing edge flow separation. As a result of this innovative design, the Ellipse is capable of
highly accurate, precise flow measurements that are proportional to the actual flow rate.

Venturi Commercial
The Venturi Flow Meter is a differential pressure element designed to accurately measure the flow of liquids, gases or steam by forcing the flow into a smaller diameter section of pipe, then measuring the pressure differences between the unrestricted flow and the restricted flow.
Preso offers two Venturi models for commercial applications. The CV Series is constructed of carbon steel and is designed for pipe sizes from 2" up to 16". For smaller pipe diameters from 1/2" up to 2", the V-Brass series is available in four throat sizes.
