Thermo Texas Nuclear CutPro Density Gauge

CutPRO Density Gauge for API Interface Detection                                                         Download printable brochure

A non-contacting design makes the Thermo Scientific* CutPRO the ideal device for -¦API cut detection.
The CutPRO system is completely non-intrusive and it is not affected bypressure, viscosity, corrosives, or abrasives. It simply mounts aroundthe existing process pipe and eliminates the need for pipe modificationand process downtime.

The innovative CutPRO Smart Density Transmitter redefines the standardfor gamma-based °API Measurement. It combines an improvedscintillation-based detector with the power of a "smart" transmitter inan explosion proof housing.

Details:

  • Non-contacting design for ideal °API cut detection
  • Integrated transmitter/detector reduces installation and wiring costs
  • Repeatability up to 0.25°API
  • PVT (Polyvinyl Toluene) scintillation detector resistant to moisture and shock damage
  • Accepts all voltages from 90 to 250 VAC 50/60 Hz and/or 18 to 36VDC. Should loss of AC power occur, the unit switches to DC power automatically
  • Easy-to-use English language user interface makes for simple set-up and calibration through the HART* Communicator
  • Self-diagnostic and alarm history software reduce troubleshooting time
  • CSA/ATEX approved/CE Mark
  • Precision: Maximum accuracy of ±0.0005 g/cc. Dependent upon field calibration, reference data and system configuration
  • Repeatability: ±0.0005g/cc (99% confidence) typical conditions
  • Stability: Drift less than ±0.05% of radiation change over 6 months
  • AmbientTemperature Field: ±0.009% of radiation change per °C; ±0.006% ofradiation change per °C for 3680XB designated transmitters
  • Power: 90-250VAC, 50-60Hz, or 18-36VDC
  • GammaRay Type: Cs-137 or Co-60, both stainless steel, doubly encapsulated;Size 10 to 10,000 mCi Cs-137 or 1,000 to 3,000 mCi Co-60
